Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah is a Hindi television drama series that aired on Zee TV channel starting April 21, 2008 until February 20, 2009. The series has a Punjabi backdrop, and the story is about a mother's inherent anxiety about finding a suitable match for her daughters.
This is a story about a middle class family, the Kohli's. This story revolves around Kulraj Kohli a homemaker, Kulbushan Kohli, a college professor and their four daughters. Their oldest daughter is Sujata who has a bad horoscope which indicates that whomever she marries will die. Their second daughter is Trishna who is strong and independent. Their third daughter is Tanya, a shy and sensitive girl. Their fourth daughter is Mansha who is brave, sweet, outgoing and bubbly. The main idea of this serial was that Kulraj wants her daughters married into wealthy families, which causes all of the problems.
